Already halfway through the Ride to the Moon 2022 Challenge

moitie Roulez jusqu'à la lune

Earlier this month, I told you about the Ride to the Moon Challenge, a bikeathon organized by the PKD Foundation of Canada. This bikeathon that lasts the whole month of June is very important and allows us to raise funds to find a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). As you know, it is a currently incurable hereditary disease that is the 4th leading cause of kidney failure in the United States. It is also a disease that affects all populations equally around the globe.

I organized a team to do the bikeathon, and my long-time friend Jessica signed up to participate with me! ♥ Thank you Jess for your support! ♥ We are trying to raise $1,000 for the cause, and I challenged myself to do 100 km of cycling in June. At just over half of the month, we collected $360, and I’m 41.2 km away! It’s going well, and my family comes out to ride with me! It helps to get over shortness of breath and nausea!

I need you to achieve my goal! Even a small $5 can make a difference to the millions of people affected by the disease!

It’s together that we can make a difference!

See you soon 🙂
